The NHYC Class/Fleet 1 Championships, hosted by the Newport Harbor Yacht Club,  is the most important regatta for the H20 Class and Fleet. This two-day Highpoint event signifies the final event for the H20 Class year and is typically held at the end of September or early October. The winners of the A, B and C Divisions are awarded their respective Championship status and awards.

This event is limited to members of the Harbor20 Class Association and owners of Harbor 20s and is governed by the Class and Fleet Bylaws.

The racing area is typically in the harbor north of the main dock of Newport Harbor Yacht Club and consists of several windward/leeward races.
