H20 Team Racing, Tomorrow, for Beginners

Not sure if you noticed? It’s Spring and the sun is out and the breeze should be between 8-12 knots tomorrow. Even if your boats at the Baldwin Cup we should be able to find a boat for yea. We are meeting at M Mark 5:30ish to about 7:00, Team racing practice for everyone interested. Keep in mind this is more like a clinic/practice than a race. More team racing tips
I am associated with a small yacht club in cental California and am interested in exploring the suitability of the Schock H20 for juniors and adults in sail training programs. Do you know of any yacht clubs or other organizations which use the boat for this purpose? I would appreciate having your perspectives on this and/or putting me in touch with others who have had direct experience in this way.

Tim, The Harbor 20 is suitable for sail training programs with comparisons to the Shield’s, Cal 20’s and J 22’s. Comparatively the maintenance is minimal to other boats and they can be stored out of the water. Two of Newport Beach’s yacht clubs use Harbor 20’s in their junior programs. The simple answer to your questions is to travel to Newport Beach, contact the Harbor 20 sailing club and take a boat out for a couple of hours.
